Freedoms Stripped In America: Quarantine Day 35

Freedoms are being stripped in America, more each and every day now. This is my quarantine diary from Denver Colorado, Day 35. I want everyone to pay close attention to their constitutional rights right now. How much freedom are we willing to sacrifice for safety? I know for myself, the answer is none.

We saw the other day in my food shortage blog post that Vermont was banning seed sales. Today in Michigan the same is happening. Items are blocked off in stores that are deemed non-essential. This includes seeds to grow your own food, paint supplies, etc.

Covington, GA: A friend threatened with a $1000 fine if he returned to his business. He was given a warning when he went to pick up his iPad.

Malibu, California: Man arrested for paddle boarding on isolated beach.

Brighton, Co: A former police officer with his 6 year old daughter for being in the park. (He was released without charge.)

Paris has now banned outdoor daytime exercising as their rules continue to tighten.

San Francisco had a “report” function on their community app to report neighbors in violation. (Since removed after negative feedback.) In Georgia, I’ve seen “report a neighbor” phone numbers given out by local officials too.

Have we not learned anything from history?

Do we continue to let the slippery slope happen? Precedents are being set that will not be forgotten by those who do not have our best interests at heart.

Pay attention to those who are trying to not take your rights away. …and ask yourself, why others are begging for it? Start asking lots of questions. Learn. Pay attention.

Freedom isn’t free. 🇺🇸
